Our second 9am gathering anticipates the Jeremiah text “Is there a balm in Gilead” (Jeremiah 18:8 – 19:1) and Luke’s story of the dishonest manager, ‘make friends with unrighteous mammon’… Luke 16:1-13)

Think about having – or losing – friends, and living with – and without – friends.
Read the lessons, think of prayers of thanks and of asking…

Theme: “Lost & Found”


We began a 9am informal worship service in Thornhill this day – despite the expected technical glitches, people enjoyed the taste of things to come. The gospel text was Luke’s version of the lost sheep, and the shepherd leaving the 99 to seek the one lost. We reflected on who, or what, we had lost, or found again – and our reflections were provoked by some videos, including some that you could search on YouTube as:
